If you follow Google like I do, you’d notice that it is like a ghost town there. Almost everyone is off, on vacation, spending time with family and friends. If you send an email to a Googler, it is almost guaranteed you’d get a vacation response.
In fact, Paul Bakaus from the AMP team at Google posted that on Twitter:
It’s that time of the year where all of your co-workers turn into email-loving bots that never fail to remind you they’re out of office.

So, somewhat in a joking manner, I responded “maybe a good time to spam Google?” He responded, rightfully so:
@rustybrick imagined for a second what would happen if all algos would just stop for 2 weeks every year. Stuff of nightmares!

Of course, the algorithms don’t take vacations. But I do suspect the Google manual action team does. Still, they all return from vacation and I am sure they get busy quick.
And we do know John Mueller is working.
So, my advice, don’t try to spam Google this week – it will back fire one way or another.
