As you saw from last week, Google tested showing the local pack in a carousel interface. Now, Google is testing showing carousels within a single local card or result.
Google has had the carousel here, on and off, but now Google is testing it in 3 different positions.
Sergey Alakov posted screen shots of this on Twitter showing how Google is showing related businesses in a carousel below the main local business you are already viewing and also showing people also search for in a carousel.
Here are some of those screen shots showing 3 different carousel boxes in a local result on mobile:
I am not sure I’d want my local box to show competitors, but this is Google, they want to make sure to give searchers options and it is probably a good thing for searchers.
