Over the past few days, before the election, many webmasters were complaining that in their analytics, they were seeing analytics spam for “vote for trump”.
Here is a screen shot of the language section in Google Analytics showing the spam that reads “secret.google.com You are invited! Enter only with this ticket URL. Copy it. Vote for Trump!”

Analytics spam is not uncommon but honestly, it seems like such a waste of effort. Well, Trump did win, no one expected it, maybe the analytics spam gave them the edge?
